The Edinburgh Science Festival is a spring celebration of all things science and education related, with a focus on young learners and future scientists. Science can be enthralling, baffling, inspiring, quizzical and utterly mind-blowing! Edinburgh has it all and more over several science-packed weeks every April. With over 14 venues hosting 133 events, the festival is designed to let you explore, discover, debate and wonder at the marvels of science.
The programme is packed full of exciting and engaging activities and exhibitions, designed to challenge and pique the interest of young scientists and show them exactly how fascinating the world of science can be. The programme is a mixture of workshops, shows and science performances to allow young minds to be immersed in the festival, as well as exhibits and sessions designed for science students and adults too.
Everything has a scientific twist and everything is designed to make the world of science accessible and enjoyable and to inspire a new generation of scientists.
