Murrayfield stadium is host to a variety of events including sporting, conference, trade show, team building and music.
Murrayfield Stadium is a huge sports, music and conference venue in Edinburgh which is known as the home of Scottish rugby. The Scotland national rugby team play the majority of their home matches at Murrayfield and it is also the largest stadium in the whole of Scotland, as well as the sixth largest in the whole of the United Kingdom. Murrayfield has an all-seater capacity of 67,144.
Murrayfield Stadium is the place to visit for rugby fans in Scotland, even if it isn’t possible to get tickets for a game. There are tours and experiences to enjoy and the stadium is well located in the centre of Edinburgh, easily accessible by foot or by public transport, as well as having parking for 1000 cars.
Although rugby is the true purpose of Murrayfield it has also been used for a wide range of different purposes including other sports, such as American football and association football and music concerts too. The largest concert Murrayfield became known for was Edinburgh 50,000 – The Final Push which was part of Live 8.
Aside from its entertainment and leisure purposes Murrayfield Stadium is also used for trade shows, conferences and team building events including special events at Christmas and Hogmanay.
